PEEVES

1. People who post SUCKY performances on Youtube. Putting a video of yourself playing an instrument is a representation of yourself, and of your proficiency on the instrument. Don’t put a video where you make a lot of mistakes. Don’t even put a video up with one mistake! If you look thru your Music collection, How many songs do you listen to where you notice mistakes?!?! MAYBE allowances for 1 or two if the stuff you're attempting to play is REALLY REALLY virtuosic.

P.S. Don't put videos of yourself playing along. And the guitar or bass or drum or kazoo or whatever part you are playing is just exceedingly BORING. Omfg. No one should be subjected to even the POSIBILITY of clicking on a link of you playing bass along to some Death Cab for Cutie song or you playing the guitar part to a Fray song or some blbhalbha

2. Youtube debates. REALLY? REALLY? Do you have so much free time to spend that you must debate who the best guitarist is, or whether some poor sap messed up on some incredibly hard Bach Concerto, Or Who's grandma is hotter?!?!?!

WHY???????

What also startles me about Youtube debates is that the people in the debates actually go thru the millions of videos to find that specific one, to spout their various close-minded dumbass opinion/replys that no one should really care about. Or they Favorited it, so they would know, which video they need to go back to, in order to spout their Close-minded dumbass opinions that no one should care about.

3. Little rants on Xanga or Live journal or Myspace Bulletins with "Waaa waaa YOU trampled on my soul, skewered my heart, and used my friendship like it was a dust rag.

no one needs to read about your private troubles with a certain person or another. If you really feel the need, THERE is PRIVATE Internet messaging systems. I did something like that shit once in middle school and I felt incredibly stupid and regretful just moments afterward.

3.5 People who have everything going for them, like they're all beautiful, and smart, and funny, and great and all that lovely bullshit, BUT they cant help but be routinely miserable. wtf is that? whatever. whatever whatever.

4. People who Support President Bush Currently. ACTUALLY I guess pretty much anybody who has supported Pres. Bush SINCE the PROPOSITION of the Iraq Invasion.

P.S. Do call him President bush. Not Bush, or That Texan idiot or, the dumbass who leads our country. AS TEMPING as it is to call him that, He is still our president. :(

5. Even Worse then Right wing religious Zealots, are the Right Wing religious nuts that feel the need to impose their "Morals" on the rest of society with their bullshit. One most recent, disgusting example being that various religious groups are not only scared shitless by the idea of same-sex Marriage, but have been actively trying to ban "civil unions” I mean really. WHAT does it matter to you either way? Just because some nice lesbian couple got a civil union, and can thus enjoy the benefits present in such unions, does it mean to YOU that they are gonna come to your house and piss on your bible or something???? I mean really. GET A LIFE

6. People who are close-minded about music. There are wonderful songs and such in pretty much EVERY GENRE of music known to man. Don't limit yourself to just one genre, or one realm of genres. Metal-heads should be able to appreciate some beautiful folk music. Classical snobs might find some punk song they appreciate for the energy. Jazzers might be able to appreciate some Riffage. ETC. ETC.

7. Did I mention Religious nuts?


8. Hot shot guitarists who cant play shit. People who claim to be really good at some instrument, but cant READ sheet music. MRS. OFARRILL

9. People who talk in insanely high voices. No, that’s not referring to you, Valeria, if you happen to be reading this.

10. People who drive Harley-Davidsons.


ALSO. If you feel there Is anything In here I have stated Hypocriticalylyelyl, I apologize. I GUESS. That me saying " yeah, god doesn’t Exist" puts me into the category of an (anti) religious nut. I will try to keep such inflammatory Views to myself in the future. Actually just recently I held my tongue during one such occasion where by revealing my Atheism, it would have lead to a sudden thunderous awkward stop in a conversation.
